As part of cooperation with Małopolska Ogrod Sztuki we engaged in design work on the production of the performance “Digital Garden “, which was to show the relationship between technology and dance in the context of data collection. From the very beginning, a strong emphasis was placed on the use of interactive technologies, so that the visualizations were not played from “playback”, but were a real response to the dance. This was achieved by using various interactive technologies – interactive wall and floor, gesture control, infrared indicators. Proprietary algorithms and graphic filters were used to generate the visualization.
The premiere of the performance took place on May 20, 2016, in the Małopolska Garden of Arts as part of the Contemporary Dance Festival Steps.
Production: Anna Piotrowska (choreographic consultation), Marcin Janus (music), Grzegorz Kaliszuk (interactive space), Filip Marszałek (light), Grzegorz Fijałkowski (sound).
Dance: Aleksandra Bożek – Muszyńska, Monika Kiwak, Aleksander Kopański, Piotr Skalski.
